So Week 1 has the theme of About Me. We are supposed to interpret the theme the way we want too. No rules. So here it goes.
About Sara...
My three year old tells me, "Mommy, I love you... five!" You see, his favorite number is five. He is very particular about his favorite things. For instance, his favorite color is blue. So he must have the blue candy, the blue cup, the blue bowl, etc. So in his world, I love you FIVE, is as good as it gets. Its the top compliment. He also says, "Mommy, your my blue." Again, this is big stuff, he is very particular about his favorite things. This might all seem silly to you, but to me, this three year old is expressing himself more clearly than a lot of adults do. He has put thought into this, trying to get his point across. Thinking, how he can tell me how much he loves me.
What does this have to do with the "About me" theme, well this three year old and his daddy are my world. I learn from them every day, learn how to love, to laugh and to live. Without these two, I feel there could never be a complete me. Sometimes we get so caught up in life, we dont take time to stop and think about whats really important. We dont sit and think about how to tell the most important people in our lives how we feel about them. Life is to short, it goes by in an instant. I want these two never to forget what they mean to me. That they are where my story starts and ends.
About Britney...
Free spirited, spontaneous, witty, funny, dependable, hard worker, filled with imagination, original, and a tad bit crazy. Oh, no no no, these are definitely not all things that I am. But they are things that I hope one day I will be. I am currently always a little frazzled, have the memory of a gold fish, a professional procrastinator and is more of a daydreamer than a deep thinker. Oh, and yes, I am definitely a tad bit crazy. Check and mark that off the list. You can even put a little gold star next to it if you want. I was a little stumped when I found out the theme of the week was "About Me" and wasn't really sure what to take a picture of. So, I decided to go with what has been on my mind the most in this moment of time. Traveling. Anywhere. I really want to see the sights Italy has to offer. Or the foods Greece has to give. Or the green valleys of Ireland. Or hear the sounds England is flooded with. But Honestly I'd even take a quick get away to the beach with my best friend.
I think the things people see, the foods they eat, the culture they are exposed to, the people they meet, the places they visit, all form who they become today. If you stay in one spot and don't see the world, you become stagnant. Go, see the stars from another back yard. Watch the sun set behind a different mountain. Talk to a person who speaks a different language than you do. Because it's when you do these things that you become free spirited, spontaneous, witty, funny, dependable, hard worker, filled with imagination, original, and a tad bit crazy.
Geez this is wonderful Well done you two. Cant wait for the other 51. Thank you.....
